Abstract

Diverticular disease is a very common situation, especially
among elderly people. Usually patients are asymptomatic
but sometimes they present with symptoms ranging from
minor complaints to life-threatening peritonitis. The clinical
picture may resemble other pathology and further imaging
and laboratory investigation is usually requested. In
this review, we describe the imaging findings of diverticular
disease.
Key words: diverticular disease, imaging findings.
